A great interview and a great rendition of the old William DeVaughn hit "Be Thankful For What You Got" which appears to be the opening track on his new LP "What The World Needs Now" that was plugged on the show.

Seems the LP was released, at least in digital form, a few days back, as it's available on Amazon Music.

Incidentally, as I found out a couple of months back, there are a lot of people out there who are convinced that William DeVaughn's classic was actually sung by Curtis Mayfield and is called "Diamond In The Back"!!

Here is a YT Video that explores the phenomenon ..   ;D

Thanks Roger. Goodness, what a mistake to make. Listened to the first five minutes then I was over it. What next 'I Feel Love Coming On' by Diana Ross!

"What next 'I Feel Love Coming On' by Diana Ross!" ...

Yes we could load it onto YT with a changed title, "Hurry Love" sounds good to me, complete with the cover art of that DRATS "Lost & Found" collection and see what happens.  Felice's song was never issued as a single in The US so we just might get away with it!!

Given that there is a YT video of "Diamond In The Back" that has had over 80 MILLION views (complete with many comments admiring Mr Mayfield's genius) we could make a fortune!!!   ;D ;D ;D
