Motown Treasures

I finally got around to purchasing the WITH LOVE CD which was long overdue. The album will need a few plays to sink in. On first listening you can’t help be impressed by the ladies vocal prowess but my initial impression is some of the songs are a little underwhelming. Still its early days and I may grow to love it.

It’s was the same with Teena Marie. Always admired her as a performer but could never settle into the albums and then for some reason they clicked and now I love them. Very strange.
