put to together a nice CDr on Shorty

Quite a few Shorty tracks have alternate versions.....often quite a different 'take...extra lyrics.
etc. The Stereo 2fer has a number of alternate takes

Lovely. I think that my fav track is 'GOODBYE EILENE'. It shows a different side to Shorty. Like Brenda he could sing any style.

Yes it's a great track.... a strange ,sad lyric...but nicely done.
Sylvia Moy said that Shorty had a premonition that he wouldn't live long. He gave her a project ..a song along the lines of " give me flowers while i'm here"..or similar. She refused presumably because it was morbid...as is Eilene.

I've got the alternate Chantilly Lace on there.
The other,,,I love that track but got it in quite a few places so went for others

Another case of my eyes need testing!

So glad you are taking a look at Shorty, Snake. He seems to be under-appreciated for some reason.

Me too Eric, he seems to have gotten lost in the mix. To be honest his recordings were superior to most of David & Eddie's solo work!
