Motown Treasures

Whilst compiling a Shorty Cdr, I was struck by various alternate mixes....Night fo' last being an example. I have used album versions but it's not the 45 version I grew up with.
Anyhow after recording the CDr, I dug out my old CDr made up of my two Shorty Vinyl lps.
I was surprised that they seemed to have these stereo alternates on them.
However upon loading the old cdr, it showed 26 tracks. Most Motown 60s lps had 12 tracks so I was curious about the extra 2 tracks I'd included years ago.
One turned out to be "A woman just won't do right"...from bootleg tape no doubt.
BUT the other track turned out to be Shorty jammin' on a Funk Bros instrumental...no words just Shorty singing
Dooby dooby doo over and over.
A demo run through. No idea where I got this .

Well, Snake, both of those "extra tracks" are from those CDRs of unreleased Motown we circulated many moons ago.

There is a story about the wordless tune that I cannot mention publicly! If we have another Motown Get-together, I'll whisper in your ear.
