Motown Treasures

I was re-reading the excellent Ric-Tic Relics thread and was wondering if anyone had purchased all of these releases? If so what is the sound quality like? I have the Girls of Golden World which all things considered is fine.

Just to be clear in my mind were all the above labels acquired by Motown?

I have 6 different CDs that feature some of these labels.

Your question regarding sound quality of these CDs all I can say is I am not an expert but I suspect that all were from records, not master tapes.  But I guess we can be thankful that they are at least available, maybe.

I have not the faintest idea where I acquired these from.  I don't keep detailed documentation of where I obtained these.  Sorry.

The latter 2 out of 4 above appear to me to be self produced; no indication whatsoever of a manufacturer or a distributor.

This might eventually be all that are available IF THEY ARE STILL AVAILABLE.  I do not know this for a fact.

If anyone wants any discographies of what are included in any of these CDs, please do not hesitate to contact me and I will be more than glad to provide this information to you.  Best I can do or offer.
