'Smile'. I could not imagine how 'Brokenhearted' would sound with different lyrics but I need'nt have worried. I remember being blown away the first time that I heard this Motown treasure. It could have been a hit but they released Jimmy's version and the rest is history!

Me too John but the original taped version by the Isleys is so poor that back then it would have been impossible to release it without detsroying their reputation. It was only due to modern day recording technology that they were able to use auto tune etc. etc to correct the pitch of the lead vocals that it became a possibilty.
