The "Show unread posts since last visit." facility.

Does this work properly?

There have been many occasions over the past few months where I have come onto the site, chosen this option, and been presented with a few new posts but only had the time to read one or two (deciding to leave the remainder until my next visit), yet the next time I log on they don't display.

All very bewildering.

Has anyone else noticed this?

Roger. Today's Posts show just that. If you leave them unread for more than 24 hours they will disappear from there. You then have to choose the Unread Posts option.

This reply makes no sense John ... I don't see a "Today's Posts" option only the "Show unread posts since last visit." option (which is what my original query was about) and a "Show new replies to your posts." option.

It seems to me that a "Most recent Posts" or "Unread Posts" option would be a better idea.

I think my unread posts still show after 24 hours..I'll test it.

Yippee ... that works!!   

I now have 17 pages of unread posts to trawl through!!
