Those mysterious and mischievous YouTube algorithms have just pointed this 1971/2 Dutch TV appearance by the Four Tops in my direction  ...



I've never quite known what to make of "A Simple Game" ... it was very atypical of the group, being recorded in London and with The Moody Blues being involved ... but it was a huge #3 UK hit and got as high as #15 in The Netherlands ... in The USA it was, predictably, a dismal flop and barely scraped into Billboards Hot-100.
