Pity that she truncated many of the songs like my new fav 'Tomorrow'? Thankfully no 'I Will Survive'! She sounds good in parts but we all know why.

Quite a remarkable performance for an 81 year old.

I especially liked the take on "Touch Me In the Morning", much lighter and jazzier than the '70s single version and a pleasant change to one of my favourite Ross songs.

As to the voice ... it did seem to be holding up very well in general, and it was very clever how she managed to sound just like she did back in 1964/5/6 when singing those  old Supremes hits.  I wonder what technical piggery-jokery was used to achieve that!?  ;) 

Nice touch with the programme signings at the end as well.

As much as I admire the octogenerian and her stamina there are several things that irk me regarding the current concerts.
So I know she is over 80 and as such looks remarkable and in places where she sings she still holds her own BUT this singalong a mary and flo portion is unforgiveable. Lets not forget that neither of those ladies faired very well after their tenure with the group and to use their vocals as back ups and mime to a 60 year old track is unforgiveable. Other parts from the show alos look like lip sync to me where the track starts before she moves her moouth. AND don't get me started with the nepotsimn - one of the family is not so bad but dragging them all up is a bit too far especially when most of them have no musical connection at all and after all that's what folks are paying high ticket prices for.
Personally I've seen her a couple of times at her best and I don't think I'll bother again - it's the same with Franki Valli but at least he had the foresight to record his whole catalogue live thirty odd years ago in order to lip sync to nowadays - but have you seen him performing recently? - like my dad used to say - looks like death warmed up.

Talking about 'death warmed up' (my mum used to say that) I would add Cliff Richard, Elton John & Paul McCartney. Then of course you come to the daddy of them all the Rolling Stones! Mick, Keith & Ronnie actually look like they have been exhumed several times over but can still sing & play!
