Lovin', Livin' & Givin'

Lovin', Livin' & Givin' is one of my favourite later Diana singles. It should have faired much better than #54 UK and I think it's aged pretty well especially this version.​

It probably suffered as it was musically obviously "inspired" by Donna Summer's "I Feel Love".   ;D

Which begs the question ... seeing as that YT video includes three different mixes, one of which totally ditches the Moroderesque electronic backing in favour of a fuller more Motownesque orchestrated sound, which is your favourite?

I'm surprised it did well on radio in any of its' incarnations/remixes. It's a club song. Dance, dance, sweat, dance, dance, snort, dance, dance. (Livin', Lovin' &) Givin' the people in the clubs what they wanted.

That said, I still like it.
