Motown Treasures

That's a new one on me John.  Pleasant and typically early '70s.

It looks like it's quite rare too as the US Motown 45 of "That's How It Was (Right From The Start)" with "It's So Sad" on the "B" side has yet to appear on 45Cat and EBay sellers are asking silly prices for them.

It did get a release in The UK on Mowest which IS on 45Cat ...

Which makes me wonder what the rules were for records being issued on Mowest in The UK, I'd always assumed that it would be reserved for those that had been on Mowest in The US or for UK productions that they didn't think were "right" for the Tamla-Motown label.  Were there any other instances of this occurring?

But none of Blinky's solo efforts were released as singles in The UK. 

Thelma Houston's "Piano Man" came out on Mowest in The UK and had a single release on Motown in The US. but then it also had a release on Mowest in The US at the same time.
