well briefly.
"My smile is just a frown" featured on Paul O'Grady's For love of dogs show this evening.

The title linked in to the piece regarding a very 'sad' looking puppie.
Motown , Northern Soul and early R& B tunes are used on a regular basis.
Paul is a Soul fan...he plays NS tunes on his radio shows.
Jackie Lee was also featured in this week's show.....you have to be on the ball to catch these tunes.

Impressions "It's alright", Marvin "I'll be doggone ,Stevie "For once in my life" Charles Wright Watts st band "Express yourself"and some other nice  pop / r&b tunes on Paul's show this week.

I suppose "I'll Be Doggone" would be perfect for a show about dogs.

Only snippets...but Somebody knows there stuff. Paul or his helpers...but his radio show suggests real soul music credentials. Good enough for me.
