A good question.  It would depend on the wording of her contract with the company, though that didn't stop the Detroit Motown session musicians from doing a lot of moonlighting. As these recordings were done in Los Angeles they were probably well out of the reach of Mr Gordy's extensive Contract-Police spy network!!   ;D ;D ;D

The Wooden Nickels "Nobody But You" has appeared on a couple of Kent's NS compilations.

Brenda is also believed to have been one of The Belles who recorded "Let's Pretend" for Mirwood in 1966.

The Belles – Don't Pretend / Words Can't Explain

The 'official' band members were Sherlie Matthews, Debra Dion, Rose Mary Bailey and Patricia McElroy. The recordings were however undertaken by Sherlie Matthews, Brenda Holloway and her sister Patrice Holloway. The Holloway sisters could not sign a contract under their own names as Brenda was already signed to Motown. Bearing in mind her enormous Motown output I think that Brenda must have been in locked in recording studios for about three years!

Oh that would be great Paul. Brenda may remember but on the other hand like Blinky she may not recall anything at all about what she recorded!
