Motown Treasures

Today I got a weekly email from Soul Source and in it was mention of a publication called SOUL UP NORTH.  They are offering Issue #123 from spring 2025 for L4.00.

I analyzed what the contents of the publication was but I saw NO MENTION of anything Motown or Motown related.  This is the first I ever heard of this publication.  Are any members familiar with it?  Have they ever done any articles on Motown in the first supposed 122 issues?

Which brings me to the next question.  Are there CURRENTLY any publications in the UK about Motown other than the excellent West Grand Blog by Adam White?

Thank you for your response.  I do get Sharon's Motown Spotlight but I have to be careful that I don't miss it.  It always comes inside of another email which is full of other information and I have to be extra careful so I don't miss it.  It doesn't come out like the West Grand Blog every week.   It is a highly appreciated spotlight and I really get a lot out of it.

I was curious if there are any other publications that I might be unaware of.  In the past we had the Chatbusters and then the Motown International Collectors Club publications which evolved into Yesterday, Today, Forever.  These were not free, but they were reasonably priced and easy to read.  Another excellent publication that I miss is Chatbusters.  Unfortunately, I was only ever able here in the USA to obtain Issue 9, September 2001.  I do have every MICC publication as well as every YTF publication in my collection. 

I am not opposed to paying for these in print vs. on the computer.  Guess I am old fashioned but I find these easier to manipulate and find information that I might want to refesh my memory on.

Does anyone know of "other" good publications that I am unaware of?
