Eric (aka Silly Wasn't I) & Ivor

Just to let you know that our dear friends Eric (aka Silly Wasn't I) & Ivor, both of whom are personal friends, are still suffering from ill health and will not be coming back to Motown Treasures. Their knowledge was unparalleled and contributions were varied and many and became the backbone of MT. The void they have left is too big for me to fill. To say that I'm sad is an understatement. They will both be sorely missed not just my me but by all who got to know them on MT. I wish them love, peace & happiness. XX

That is indeed sad news humboldt thank you for sharing. Silly's knowledge, enthusiasm and willingness to share is much missed. I wish them both the best life possible  I must add John, that it is your forum that has allowed me to  view photos, read posts and be part of the whole, long may it remain.

I am very sad to read this news and wish Eric and Ivor the very best. I thank them for their seemingly unlimited knowledge of Motown and beyond. That would count for little without their humour and graciousness. I would add the latter are ever present features of MT.

Thank you for letting us know John. I do miss Eric & Ivor here on MT. They always seemed to be able to start a thread on a vast variety of Motown topics you yourself had never thought of! Their knowledge was second to none and they always gave friendly advice or comment to other members' posts. Please send them both our dearest wishes for their good health and speedy recovery from The Grapes and hope they'll be able to join us here again soon.

Was speaking to Ivor on Sunday. He's back in his own home but with very limited mobility. He was sounding positive and said that he'll be back online just as soon as he gets his new laptop sorted out. I said that he was much missed by this friends on MT :)
