My brain is getting softer, so my memory is a little wobbly these days.

Somebody asked me, were there more Velvelettes than Vandellas during their Motown days?

I can't quite dig the details up but I think the answer is "yes" - and presumably, there were more Velvelettes than Marvelettes but I stand to be corrected.
