Was listening to the other half's playlist of Seventies favourites when this lovely tune appeared:-



Not a huge fan of Teena but this is a lovely arrangement and Teena isn't straining. It's very sweet.

Yes Eric, I'm liking this one. Teena is OK in small doses. I do like some of her funky numbers.

It's the second track on her second LP, the first track being "Behind The Groove".  This is the kind of Teena Marie record that I really like and it kind of typifies what became known as "Quiet Storm" music as far as I'm concerned,  the one everybody seems to play is "Portuguese Love" but I think I prefer this one. 

I have the "Lady T" LP (probably bought it in the late '80s) but missed out on the CD reissue in 2011 when Hip-O gave it their expanded makeover.  Another one for me to look out for methinks.
