I have to say that I've never been a fan of this particular side to Motown and have always said just because it's on Motown doesn't meen it's Motown or even good come to that

Actually I quite like it, but then it's very much of its time :) and 1965/6 is my favourite period for Pop/Rock.  I wonder if it would have been a hit if Motown had actually released it back then, I imagine that I would have enjoyed listening to it on Radio London or the Carolines.
