I think some of the best Jr Walker recordings were left as album tracks. One of my favourites was produced by Leonard Caston:-



This teaming of artist and producer was a potent mix and I wish they had done more than just the two tracks together.

Eric that's a good one by Jr Walker.
Off the top of my mind a few tracks come to me.
Gladys knight& P. My Bed of Thorns. He's my kinda fellow.
The Temptations Too busy thinking about my baby.
The Elgins Stay in my lonely arms.
Barbara Mcnair Steal away tonight.
The Elgins track may have been on the flip side of Darling baby though, so maby that one dosent count.

I wouldn't claim this to be a 'classic ' track, but on playing Jr.'s " Home Cookin' album on the 2 fer with the " Road Runner" album, I noticed this bonus track.....I don't think I'd noticed this tucked away before. Routine stuff from 1967, but worth including on a Jr . thread in case others have missed it.

I do remember 'Whiplash', Jr blowing up a storm. It's also on  Reader's Digest 'The Ultimate Motown Collection - Dance Party' which is a very odd assortment of tracks!
