I have the UK 2-fers from several years back, plus I also have a few "from Germany with illegality." If this release becomes easily available in the US for a reasonable price under $20, I might just buy it to support the releases. I think Paul Nixon said that BGO is legit (I've seen BGO releases for years), so hopefully these might be remastered? There's not much Motown coming out anymore, so... I still get excited when I see releases like these.

Those would have to be the re-recordings of Every Beat Of My Heart", "Letter Full Of Tears" and "Giving Up" that Motown did to pad out the "Greatest Hits" LP in 1970.

Meant to add that unlike the 2fer's there are none of these bonus tracks.

Every Beat Of My Heart

Letter Full Of Tears

Giving Up

Stepping Closer To Your Heart

Billy, Come On Back As Quick As You Can

Friendship Train

There is a "real" Motown connection of sorts as one of the song's co-writers is Ty Hunter who later joined The Originals.

Nothing at all do do with music but I felt that Lynn Council deserves to have his story shared. RIP

Velvelettes / Dot and The Velveletts

Dot and The Velveletts - 'Searching for My Man' (Teek) 1963 is new to me! I thought amazing I've found a rarity! However, my eyes only see what I want them to see! It's the Velveletts (note spelling) not The Velvelettes as I read - duh! Anyway they were a girl group from St. Louis, Missouri. After all that research I thought that I'd post here anyway.

'To Know You Is To Love You'. When I first heard this I thought that it would be a huge hit - wrong! What went wrong?
