Seems that they are by a New York artist called Walter Yablonsky ...

Walter has a Facebook page full of all manner of artistic stuff ....

I think I'll give a miss on buying the paintings, but having just bought a ticket for this upcoming Friday's EuroMillions lottery (Estimated jackpot £169Million / US$200Million) who knows ... they might look good hanging in the Motown wing of my dream mansion!!   ;D

Smokey Robinson & The Miracles / Re: The Love I Saw in You Was Just a Mirage

Presumably that was filmed at Expo '67 in Montreal, Canada, the "world fair" that was being held around the time that "Mirage" was released.

I thought that it was seriously suggested that The Tops should have Levi Stubbs name added to them but Mr Stubbs quashed the idea out of loyalty to "his boys".  I could be wrong of course but what would they have been called ... "Levi Stubbs & The Three Tops" perhaps??   ;D

Smokey Robinson & The Miracles / The Love I Saw in You Was Just a Mirage

'The Love I Saw in You Was Just a Mirage' live. One of my favourites, reached #20 US (#10R&B) but failed to chart in the UK! Was their first single to be released as 'Smokey Robinson & The Miracles'. This was the beginning of lead singers getting their name upfront like Ross and Martha who had Reeves added. David Ruffin is reported to have been furious when Gordy refused his request for his name to be put in front of the Temptations. For once I agree with Gordy as Eddie was just as important. I'm not sure if Levi was approached re his name going out in front of the Four Tops but I'm sure that he would have declined. I never heard of a similar approach to the Marvelettes who of course like the Temptations had two lead singers Wanda & Gladys although the latter was on her way out!

Thanks Roger. I had not played that album in quite some time so I forgot that Your Precious Love was on there.

That "Come See About Me" LP also contained a version of "Your Precious Love" (the Ashford-Simpson/Gaye-Terrell song) with Mr Sedaka duetting with his daughter Dara Sedaka.

The only Motown connection that comes to mind was Mary Wilson making a guest appearance on his Come See About Me album, where she sang on the title cut.
