Sorry to hear of the passing of former president Jimmy Carter. He is the first United States President to reach the age of 100!
Jimmy's mother was Lillian Gordy (1898-1983), the granddaughter of James Thomas Gordy (1828-1893).
James Thomas Gordy was also the Great Grandfather of Berry Gordy, Jr. which makes Jimmy Carter and Berry Gordy, Jr. Half Second Cousins.
Carter's mother Lillian Gordy  and Berry's father Berry "Pops" Gordy were Half First Cousins. Condolences to his family and friends.

Shocked is how I'm feeling - we (his closest colleagues) knew nothing about his recent diagnosis nor likely outcome so for  this to happen so suddenly leaves me somewhat speechless.

Thanks for letting us know Paul. It must be even harder to take for those closer to Keith and who worked with him over the years. Please let us know where, and when, if there's to be a funeral. God bless Keith

...I received the CD a couple of weeks ago and played it once half-heartedly ...and wasn't too impressed...! ...played it again today in the background while doing other things ...and was pleasantly surprised by it's (Motown) sound and quality...! I do hope it's selling well...!
