I agree too, it sounds to me more like the Andantes, but it is depite a very good track and I need sometimes expert ears, thank you very much

I agree with Dan. I don't think Mary & Cindy were on many tracks in that timeframe.

In my ears' opinion, it is strictly the Andantes in the background. Being that it seemed to be a Detroit production by Johnny Bristol, I don't think the Blackberries (the Los Angeles background singers who came into use around 1969 and onward) were singing. If there's even a speck of Mary and Cindy's vocalizing in that Andantes singing, they're drowned out, overdubbed, or non-existent.

All that said, it's an enjoyable tune in spite of Mary and Cindy's absence!

Hi I would like to know, who supported Diana in the backround, were there Cindy & Mary and The Andantes or only The Andantes? It sounds not to me there is Mary & Cindy alone.
