Actually John ... on the "Cash Box Magazine" pop chart "My Guy" did replace The Beatles' "Love Me Do" at #1 ....  ;D

Hello, please correct the Mary Wells article. Mary never toppled the Beatles and most certainly not with 'Two Lovers' which was a hit in 1962! The Beatles in fact toppled Mary's 'My Guy' in 1964.

I sometimes wonder how much people get paid for writing these things (or could it have been AI generated?). 

Maybe there is a parallel universe where "Two Lovers" knocked the Beatles off the top of the charts??

Didn't Marv Johnson like to boast that it was his hit records, leased out to United Artists, that kept Motown afloat in the early years.
