Poor Evie, always the bridesmaid never the bride! Evie recorded so many brilliant songs but somehow never managed to have a big hit because of bad management, label issues or someone else got there first etc!

I stumbled onto Evie many years ago and think she was highly underrated with a pretty unique voice. I'm sure you're aware that Ace released a CD set on her 60s singles last fall. Definitely worth picking it up!
