This is AI-tooled. Dante Orlando has posted multiple videos on YouTube that claim to be "original" or "lost" mixes--and they're basically tracks put through an AI program. This sounds like the key has been lowered somehow and Jean's vocal has an odd "strangled" quality to it. It almost doesn't sound like Jean...but it's just been processed.
Some of this stuff makes for a fascinating listen--as long as you accept it for what it is: AI-altered music. I wish this Dante Orlando person would just be up front and include in the video notes something like, "Using my software, I decided to change the key, highlight a few different instruments in the mix, and--to my surprise--Jean's vocal through the program sounds slightly different. What do you think?" Instead, the dummy fans of the world will think, "OMG! There's an alternate version!" Yeah, an alternate version this guy created!
Why isn't Uni going after this person the same way they went after Ben from Germany who put out product that was more in line with reality?
